I've had my ipaq for a long time now and never really considered
listening to music, but I want to buy a music player and would like
to know what's the best choice? I'd like something that can play
various types of files and maybe like winamp function? What do
you suggest I buy?

I use WinamPAQ.

Its free, its great for OGG playback (which has the best quality to size ratio for an audio file) and you can skin it with Winamp2 skins.

Oh, did I mention its free!

Have you tried windows media player - it is already on your device and is OK as a basic player.

I prefer PocketMusic. Works well with Voice Command too.
