I'm sure that there is some one out there with the naswer to my question:

Does anybody know of any voice prompts for navigation apart from the ones contained in TomTom/Checkpoint or POIwarner in english ?

I am looking for some alternatives in english as the ones ive got are not of that a good quality/reproduction/sound level

Mapopolis has voice prompts in thier higher scale program. However, if your complaint is about volume/quality of sound, it could be your ppc. I have a Ipaq 5555 and the volume on the external speaker is non-existant.

Regarding sound level, you could always copy the sound files to PC and run them through an app that will increase the volume level. If that doesnt help then your PPC speaker isnt up to it.
