In order to manage my contacts better, I added subfolders under my Contacts folder and moved my contacts. Upon synching, all the contacts were deleted from my handheld. Is there a way to synch these sub-folders? Or am I screwed? I tried "Setting" in "Contacts" in ActiveSync, and selected "Synchronize all contacts", but nothing.
Can anyone help here?
Thanks

Unfortunately, you can't sync sub-folders. The only method of contact organization that the Pocket PC supports is categories. Give this a read for how it works:

This (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2D31C7F0-B871-49CE-9F96-712A1695E372&displaylang=EN)is something MS offers, didn't try it and don't know if it works with MSMobile, just in case, I'd better follow Jason's advice.

What that MS thing does is copy each of the contacts that are in subfolders back into the root folder...AND it creates a catagory from the folder name and applies it to the contact. So in essence it does what Janak suggests, which is the only real option, use catagories. It does speed the process for you, sinc e you just spent all that time 'catagorizing' your contacts by putting them in folders. Note this does not move the contacts but copies them, so you'll have one in the root with a catagory attached, and one in a folder. You can dump the folders.
