Install microsoft remote display host (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pocketpc/msremotedisplay.html). You can then control your ppc from your desktop, and then use alt-print-screen to take screenshots of the active window, and then paste those into any paint program.

There are more specialised software to do the same job, but for occasional use this is perfectly fine.

Can I have something that can be used without a desktop computer? I would like to have some software that takes screen shots and puts them in a folder on my PPC so I can get to them easily. The amount of screen shots I will be taking requires some efficiency.

Sounds like you plan on doing this for work, in which case Im sure you wont mind spending $10 on it.

Try IA ScreenShot (http://www.iastyle.com/iascreenshot/index.asp) which seems to do all the things you want it to do.

If it's an iPAQ, you can change iTask to take screenshots for you; best of all, it's free!

These instructions courtesy 'Eitel' over at Brighthand.com

Here's what you need to do. Go to "Settings" and then "System". Click on "iTask Settings" and then on the "Menu Item" select #10, which should be "Unassigned". Now, click on "Replace with:" and then Expand "Internal" select either "Capture" or "Delay Capture". Click Apply.

Now, open iTas with the button, and click on the arrow. You'll see the Capture at the end.
