The hx4705 is up on ecost and showing as shipping in 2 - 5 days. Who knows if it true, but lets hope!

Wow! It looks like there's an instant discount if you add it to cart, bringing it down to $563.18!

Maybe we should pre-order this, I don't know if this'll last...

Oh, and another reason to pre-order it. If the price is legit, even if you didn't want it you could probably sell it on ebay for more than this (especially if you don't open it)...

Price is now $599 delivery is 3 to 4 weeks. Just ordered one.

It was listed that way in the Best Buy computers I believe, but that may just be a placeholder that they're going to update with the *actual* price when they get some. In fact, I would expect that to be the case. There is rarely a $150 difference between prices from different places on the same current device. There's just not *that* much markup that they can go into.

The delivery time seems to jump around from 2-5 days to 3-4 weeks. Anyone know which one it'll be? For me, school starts aug. 30th and I want to sell my 2215 to make up some of the cost but don't want to be stuck without my note taker/recorder/entertainment, etc for very long once it starts

HP only ask for your serial no to register your iPaq once if registered you will have the warranty that everybody has.
