Best Buy has the HP hx4705 listed in their system!!!!!

I know many have been wondering about this, but check this out!!!!


I just stopped by Best Buy yesterday, and asked them to look it up in their system, to see when it was going to come in, if at all. They guy found it listed as a HP hx4705!!!! :)
Better yet, it had a delivery date of Aug 1!!!!!!! :D
Even better yet, tho, was the price it was listed at: $499 8O

THIS ROCKS!!!!

and it can still make sense, because if I was taking preorders, and didn't know the exact price, yet, i would aim real high as well, and then have to refund ppl, instead of ask them to pay more!!!!

Ahmmm....last I heard, BestBuy was out of the high end PDA biz.....and I really do not think that they are going to be selling this model below cost, but hey...... 0X

Very tempting :) I was ready to go either the A730 or the Loox 720, but if the 4700 isn't going to be too much more it may be worth it (624mhz processor, 1800ma battery).

I just hope the the price is similar over here in AU with the only difference being the exchange rate. At the current rate its $682AU, so that translates to maybe $900 in the big stores (Harvey Norman, Myer, Officeworks etc) but hopefully closer to $700 over Ebay.

They are just moving them to their web site, and having fewer in the stores, that's all!!

The sooner these babies get out into users hands, the sooner some refurbished ones are going to be turning up at discounted prices on ebay - that is what i am waiting for.

That and finding out just how the touchpad is going to work out....
