Currently I believe there are no plans to release an upgrade to SE 2003 for the current iPaq. HP wants you to buy the new models that are coming out soon.

No official call on this yet, but it is up to the individual manufacturers. Unfortunately, it seems that the closer we come to new product releases, the lower the chances of an upgrade.

You can download a trial version of Nyditot if you want. There are a couple of free landscape viewing utilities out there but most of them seem only compatible with PPC2002. Nyditot is a 7-day trial before you need a registration code.

It works well, but unfortunately, the original WM2003 software does not have complete landscape 320x240 viewing support. Some stuff gets cut off at the bottom since some parts of WM2003 were written with a portrait 240x320 resolution in mind. However, the Office utilities and the Today screen appear to have complete support for the landscape view. Give it a go...but I'm sure the novelty will wear off after a while as it did with me. I'd consider it when the OS has complete support for the landscape view...which is why I'm hoping HP will release the WM2003SE updates.

Well according to Brighthand...it's official. Dell and HP are leaving current PPC owners out to dry. No WM2003SE for us. Which means third-party programs for us!

The 4150 runs the standard WM2003 OS. It does not support landscape. So unless you have a third-party application providing a landscape view, I doubt you'll get IE in landscape.
