Is there any good way yet to turn the font on the stat menu to black instead of white?

I might be wrong...but I thought the start font color came from the theme. You might try microsoft's theme generator if you're using PPC 2002.

I believe only WM2003 supports Start Menu color changing via a theme, not PPC2002.

Two ways to change font color:

1. Install & use Tweaks 2K2
2. using a registry editor, navigate to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color. Edit (or add a new) binary value 39. For black text make it 00 00 00 00
