Im an EMT in the USAF and have found micromedex to be invaluable to me. I dont use it as much as a doctor or nurse would but ive found that when i do need it it helps out tremendously. Its free for any healthcare facility that has a customer number. Should be fairly easy to find the number out. here is the link

All the state hospitals in Western Australia also have a free subscription for health-care employees - it's again easy to find the details on the hospital intranet.

My only gripes with this program are it is yet to have storage card support for pocketPC (it does so for palm) and has a heavy memory footprint. Drugs are also in American names/terminology/dosages *sigh*... but seeing MIMS is a massive 11MB's and far more expensive it's not a bad alternative (NSW healthcare employees get it for free).
