Has anyone used an SDIO Wi-Fi card with their 1945? I'd like to know what your experience has been with it. Thanks! 8)

From what I've read about the 1945 it has built in wi-fi but I guess that's only in newer models or you don't like it. I don't have one yet but I have not a lot of reading on it.

No, the 1945 does not have built-in WiFi. It only has integrated Bluetooth.

Stevepup, I've never used an SDIO WiFi card with a 1945, so I can't comment on how it works. I can say I've used a Sandisk SDIO WiFi card with my i700 and it works OK. I believe Socket also makes one, and the latter is slightly higher-rated, although Sandisk now offers a WiFi card with integrated memory as well.

My wife has a 1945 and a Sandisk SDIO WiFi card. It works fine, no issues, and gets slightly better range than my 4150 with built-in WiFi.
