Before I go to my IS dept, wanted to know if MS Activesync can used through a serial port with Windows NT. Can't seem to find this out from MS and I know I can't use the USB port.
BTW, I have an H2215, if that matters.
Thanks for the help, as usual.

Yes - it should work fine. ActiveSync 3.7.1 is listed (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/activesync37.mspx) as being NT-compatible (SP6, to be precise). You just need to make sure you have a serial connector for your iPAQ 2215; I'm pretty sure it has serial support built-in, but I can't remember if the cradle has two plugs like the iPAQ 38xx/39xx/5xxx cradles...

When I click on My Computer then Properties it shows NT 4.00.1381, nothing about "Workstation" or any Service Pack info. Looks like I need to talk with my IS dept.
Thanks

The service pack info won't show there. Do Start => Run => type in "winver" => Click OK. Chances are it's SP6, because no other version of the Service Packs are supported anymore...
