But sometimes it might be a good idea to have your Pocket PC show what is going on inside your heart. And that's where the Alive Monitor comes in. It's a device that you can strap on like other heartrate monitoring devices you see in gyms etc. This one goes to eleven though: it uses wireless technology to transmit the information to a computer, PDA, or central monitoring centre. I still do not know why so many people bash Bluetooth. It’s changing the way we do things. It’s making the world truly wireless. Yesterday I was in CVS (it’s a convenient store / pharmacy) and I walked by there Kodak kiosk. There was a sign that said print picture off your cell phone or PDA using Bluetooth or IR for 29 cents a print. I had to try it, so I pulled out my Nokia 6820, went to the photo gallery on the phone, found an image to print, pressed options, then send via Bluetooth. The Kodak machine said received imaged and asked what size I wanted to print it. When I was done it printed a receipt and the image printed on the same Kodak film processing device they used to process standard film. It printed on Kodak paper and looked great all for 29 cents.

I still do not know why so many people bash Bluetooth.
It's good to see that you've been successful using it, but quite frankly, a lot of people have had much trouble with it. Just because you don't have any problems doesn't mean others don't. ;) I think we all want it to succeed, and hopefully the experience smoothens out as the technology evolves.

This is vaporware, people. The product is not on sale anywhere in the internet, there is no mention of when this is going to be on sale etc.
Basically they are just trying to hype up some investments.
Or should that be "they WERE trying" because last "news" on their website is Nov 2003.

It would have been a nice product, if it existed. Alas.

Hopefully someone else (polar?) will pick it up - i for one would buy a device that has biult-in data logger as well as real-time BT feed and decent battery life.
