Hi all,

I was travelling out of the country 4 weeks ago and didn't use the WLAN in my 5450. I didn't install any new applications to the 5450 and yesterday suddenly it doesn't want to connect to my home AP anymore.
The "orange" LED simply will not turn "green" anymore.

The only thing I did with the 5450 was to do ActiveSync with a NEW computer (I bought a new system).

I tried removing the AP settings in the 5450 and adding it back on but it still just doesn't want to connect. Worse, now everytime I turned off the WLAN, the unit will freeze.

Nothing has changed in the AP itself (for the last 2 years).

Any ideas?

Try removing the battery for a few seconds, that usually fixes the prolem.

I did that, even leaving the battery out for 5 minutes. Still no go

Anybody else have any input on this?

As a worst-case scenario, try backing up the device and doing a hard-reset and see if that has an effect. (And, if it doesn't you can restore.)

Have you updated the firmware? I had the same problem and that helped. Still had to reset every few weeks or so.
