availability of i-mate pocket pc 2003 smartphone

I've been looking into getting a i-mate/xda 2 pocket pc phone, but many of the online retailers don't have them in stock. Are they phasing them out?

Most online retailers cannot get the devices due to the high demand for them. Your best bet is probably ebay or clubimate.com to buy one. Arne at ppcw.net may have some in stock as well.

Just on a side note, there are two seperate products - the I-mate Pocket PC Phone Edition (also known as the XDA II / MDA II / QTek 2020) and the I-Mate Smartphone2. The latter is a true smartphone, while the former is what most everyone is trying to find.
