is there a full screen character recognizer?

I like to use Character Recognizer when my penmanship in Transcriber fails me. However, I don't like being limted to the bottom portion of the screen. Is there software similar to CIC's Jot that will allow me to use the entire screen to enter text?

Not that I know of. :( That said, something like Decuma (http://www.decuma.com/) might be a step up from Character Recognizer - you can enter a line of text at the bottom of the screen, and it does character-by-character recognition -- in other words, it falls somewhere between Character Recognizer and Transcriber.
