The upgrade does currently require our proprietary driver and is segmented into 64MB as 'conventional' memory and 64MB as our Hi-Speed T2T Disk. Benchmarks show that it takes up to 18x longer to write a 1MB file to the CF card vs writing to our Hi-Speed T2T Disk; 4x longer to write to the Main RAM vs our Hi-Speed T2T Disk. By installing programs to the T2T Disk, you not only save writing time, but leave more conventional RAM free for program operation.<br /><br />The SRP of the upgrade is $159 including 2nd day return shipping(USA only). Currently, we have all of our 128MB upgrades on sale. The sale price for the ASUS 128MB upgrade is $129. As always, this upgrade is not supported by ASUS and will void the warranty on the unit. We do offer a 90 day warranty on the upgrade and motherboard Of the unit.<br /><br />European customers will be able to order and ship through our <a href="http://www.expansys.com/other.asp?man=PPCTE"> Authorized Upgrade Center,</a> Expansys.com. The mainboards will be upgraded by us. We currently have several shipments per week between Expansys and PocketPCTechs."<br /><br />This looks like an upgrade that makes an already great unit even better! More room for games! :mrgreen:
