They really need to update that AIM, the interface is so clumsy and the features so minimal.

I mean, they have the nerve to start charging for the Pocket PC US client, even though the PC one is free, and they don't even update it.

Why not try Agile Messenger (http://www.agilemobile.com/am.html)? It's free and supports "ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, MSN, QQ and Jabber". I've used it for Yahoo before...not elegant but does the job nicely and the price is good! :D

Buy IM+. It does AIM, ICQ, MSN and Yahoo.

What more could you want? :)

This version is okay. But there is a newer version with better graphics. How does the agile messenger work. Are the graphics cool?

Really, on the Pocket PC, I'd say no, the graphics are not really fantastic. It's more functional than a work of art. I've not done a lot of work with it, just enough to know it worked with a yahoo IM account I have. For free, why not download and take it for a spin?

I think I've tried just about all of those multi-messenger pocketpc softwares out there. Each one had something wrong with it. Agile Messenger is ok, but it only listed a mere 4 or 5 people online on my AIM list, out of 15 or so that were actually online. The other services seemed to work ok though.

IM+ if I remember right, couldn't even connect to one of the services, even though I gave it the right login/pwd.

And there were some others too, either they didn't work at all, were very buggy, or individual services did not work for me.

Personally, I'd like to see a multi-messenger that incorporates all 4 or 5 major instant messengers completely. And have it so that you view separate buddy groups (at least in AIM), so that not all of your buddy list is jammed into one.
