Can Volume control be more controlled?

when I go to the volume control on my IPAQ 4155, it has six ticks for control. 1 tick being off and 6 being the loudest. But there is no in-between like winamp. Is there a tool or program where it allows me to fine tune the volume?

Have you tried Volume Ctrl (http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/volumectrl.shtml)? Yes, it does work on WM2003, I've used it on my iPAQ 5555.
