Thinking of updgrading from my 1910 to the 4155 and just wondered if HP has improved the sensitivity of the touchpad...how do they compare?

I always preferred my old Toshiba e310 to the 1910 because it had a much more sensitive overlay, though of course the 1910 screen was much better.

Thanks!

Interesting...I haven't noticed any significant differences between touch screen sensitivity on any Pocket PC I've used in the past year or so. THen again, I don't use it for artwork - I'm sure if people use Pocket Artist they'll notice differences...

Weird. I've worked with several 19xx devices, including a 1910, and had no problems with the sensitivity at all. Are you sure your 1910 isn't defective? (I'm assuming you're talking about the touchscreen, not the d-pad; the d-pad is much better on the 41xx devices in my opinion.)

No, my 1910 isn't defective although it is an early model. The touchscreen is most definitely less sensitive than the e310 and this issue was actually discussed when the 1910 first came out.

Perhaps if you've not used the e310 for comparison, the 1910 seems fine but screen taps (particularly at the edges when scrolling) require much more pressure than the Toshiba.

I was just hoping the 4155 screen sensitivity was improved over the 1910. Otherwise, it looks to be a great upgrade!
