If I have two Pocket PCs and one laptop how can t set ActiveSync to use the same folder for each Pocket PC? l love to read e-books and I would like to be able to Sync annotations between the two devices. So that l could pick up reading a book on one device when I left off on the other device.

Advice from our resident sages would be greatly appreciated.

You can -- but it's unsupported and at your own risk, and I don't know how well it works. The folder is set by a registry key. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services\Partners. Pick one of the partners, navigate to Services\Synchronization under it, and on the right side there's a "Briefcase Path" value. When changing it, make sure to end it with a backslash ("\"). Of course, it goes without saying that you must have your Pocket PCs undocked before doing this, and make a backup.

(I only use this feature to change the location of my Pocket PC's stores, not to keep them "sync"ed.)
