So I tried to install their Wirless version on my Dell Axim x5 with 2003 and get an error saying the .cab is not a valid installation file.....

Anyone else get this to work?

Same error when trying to install to my Samsung i700.

this would come in handy, but I think I'd rather pay one up-front cost than monthly. If you are a big seller, you would likely need this.

Sure, it's WML, but, umm, that's the point right? Works great with PocketIE and any of the phones I've tried.

I haven't actually _tried_ abidia, but I've found that when I just want to quickly review pending auctions wap.ebay.com works great (when going to the my ebay page). WHen I really want to search, etc., Thunderhawk to the rescue.

Now if there was a WAP version of www.auctionsniper.com... that would more useful, but not with a "per month" pricing model.

Abidia Wireless is licensed with a subscription model that may be billed directly by the cellular provider or Abidia depending upon the platform you are using. For the duration of the license you will be able to search, browse, bid, and monitor auctions without restrictions.

Am I wrong in understanding that it's usage is billed via normal GPRS channels?

Having had a look at it, and a brief 'play', on a P900, seems quite useful in itself - although I haven't checked out the wap version etc etc yet...
