I just bought a second Ipaq 1945 for my wife and noticed that the screen on it was even yellower than on the other 1945 I bought 6 months ago. On the new one the display has a yellow tint even if I look straight onto the screen (unlike the older one where I would have to slant the screen to get that effect). The difference is really quite noticeable if you hold the two side by side.
I also noticed that the newer Ipaq had ROM version 1.10, which means that it was probably produced within the past month or so.
Does anyone know if HP switched to a different supplier or changed anything else that could explain the worse screen quality?
