The largest three PDA producers, Dell HP and Palm have massively increased outsourcing to Taiwan in order to cut costs.<br /><br />"As the average selling price continues to decline, shipment value in Taiwan has reached 35% growth. PDA models with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS equipment built in have become the mainstream PDA choice, now at more than 60% of the Taiwanese PDA market, MIC reports." <br /><br />Always good to have mainstream PDAs with those kinds of goodies built, while the prices are going down. Stack 'em high and sell 'em cheap guys. 8)

..and along with those PDA's go jobs for Americans. Sure, send them over to taiwan where labor laws can be ignored and you can pay workers next to nothing, but hey, at least you saved $30 on a PDA.
