Some of you may remember the HTC "Falcon" that was advertised on the FCC site a year or so back?! Well this is it! It is the same form factor as the XDA with minor cosmetic differences. On the inside it has an Intel PXA255 400mhz processor on the PDA side, and a Qualcomm MSM5500 CDMA 1X chip on the phone side. It has 64mb or RAM, and 32MB ROM. The screen is transflective, and as nice as any I have seen. The SD slot IS IO. I am able to use my Sandisk SD WiFi card without issue. It does not have a camera and does not have the memory the iMate/XDA II has. Nor does it have Bluetooth. So far it appears that all XDA accessories can be used on it."<br /><br />Dave Evans, over on Pocket PC Passion, gives the device a pretty decent run-through. If you're looking for a CDMA Pocket PC Phone in Canada, you should definitely check out his post. I noticed he's loving the speeds of 1xRTT.

I've been drooling over this device, ever since I saw Bell demo it back in March. I finally caved in today and picked it up. So far, it's been fantastic. I've been especially impressed by the 1x speeds and the reception.

We'll see how I feel in a few weeks! :)
