h5555/5550 discontinued?

I finally decided to purchase a 555x model, but I am unable to find them for sale now. CompUSA online - sold out. Their local store - out of stock. My local Microcenter had it a month ago, now they say they no longer carry it. Is this model being discontinued?

i had the same prob awhile back. Hp cant keep up with store demand. The most compusa has is like 2 at a time. Very hot item.
