4150 Wont heard or soft reset

Ive had my ipaq on now for about 5 days, never reset it for a while, and nothing? it wont hard or soft reset, is there any software for pc to do that, or is it possible that some1 out there knows how, plz help.. TY..

What kind of iPAQ do you have?

The 38/39/5000 series iPAQ's have a reset button/hole on the bottom right of the unit. Stick the stylus in the hole and push gently. The unit should soft reset.

On the 1940/45 series, the reset hole/button is on the left side of the unit. Again, stylus in the hole, push gently, and the unit should reboot. On the 2200, the reset hole, button is on the back, bottom right of the unit.

Try these, and then let up know what happens.

The easiest way to hard reset a PPC is to take out the battery and let it sit for a couple hours until the backup battery bleeds out. There are also some button combos, but try the soft resets first and then we'll take it from there...

Chris, I think you missed it in the title - he has a 4150.

The 4150 has the soft reset in the left side just like the 1945 as Chris mentioned.

To soft reset you should just stick the tip of your stylus in there. To hard reset push in the soft reset button and hold it and then press on the power button.

If neither of these work then you should use Chris' suggestion of leaving the battery out of the unit and let the backup battery drain.
