Problems with SD and Videos

I put a video in my SD card it worked fine I open it again later, still works fine. The next day, the video only plays for 4 seconds, and plays nothing but the bar keeps going forward. No sound, no video. I delete it and copy it back in and it works. Same thing repeats the next day.

ANother Q. How come the memory left on my SD card doesn't update after deleting my video file? The memory shows how much was there before I deleted.

Did you try a soft reset?

Have you tried reformatting the card?

(Do SD cards need to be defragged?)
