Our Lil' Sync Retractable Cables are the solution. Don't leave home without them. They extend from 4" up to 35", weigh only a couple of ounces and will sync your unit."<br /><br />Note that this is a Sync ONLY unit. PPCTechs is apparently working on a sync/charge version but it's not available yet. Nevertheless, I'm glad to see this; I've got a JavoEdge retractable sync/charge cable that only charges. I use that in my car, so this might be a good fit for the office! The price is $15.99 per unit. :way to go:

I have a Lil Sync cable that accompanied me on my recent trip to the coast. Having a cable that small, a travel adapter in the truck and an AC adapter in the trailer sure makes for a lighter load!

I wish they would do that with ear buds

This is the same cable that Boxwave and JavoEdge are selling, and cheaper. JavoEdge also have retractable ear-buds

Brando has had the retractable sync & charge for a few months now, http://shop.brando.com.hk/bwretractablesynccharger.php

I bought one as soon as I had my 4150. Looks suspiciously like the PPCTEchs one, if I may say so. But this one syncs and charges.

They're all made by the same chinese OEM. All the products you see on the JavoEdge site are coming from that company.

I have the one that Toshiba sells (sync n charge with car adapter for $20). I love it. Use it everyday. Currently *trying* to use it to get wikipedia on my SD card with no luck...

Is there a reason you can't just use the Sync and Charge cable for the iPAQ 1900/2200/3900/5000 series? I use the same little fob adapter plug thing to charge my 4350 as I did my 1910, and it's my understanding that the sync connector is the same across these models (except that it's backwards on the 1900 series, but that doesn't matter here).

I guess I was surprised to see this "new" product announced, because I assumed that a sync and charge solution had been available for quite a while...

A sync and charge solution has been available for a long time for almost all Pocket PCs. However, the iPaq 41xx consumes a lot of battery power, and the regular mini sync and charge cables were unable to sync and charge an iPaq 41xx simulataneously.

So a bunch of us are waiting for retractable sync and charge cables for the iPaq 41xx.

Hope this helps!
