I read on a Pocket PC website (this one I thought?) that Mugen now makes a 2000ma battery for the 415X and it is the exact same size as the original battery. Does anyone know about this? I heard it was $49.99. I don't think I need a new battery right now, but for $50, I can't lose.

BTW the reason I say I don't need the battery is because I am someone who owns a PDA, but doesn't NEED one. I barely turn it on except to read Avantgo stories or to look up a phone number---am I sad or what? A $450 address book :<.

Just did a Google and meandered my way to this

Hi capacity batteries that are the same size as the standard ones. 8O

At only $50USD this looks like a great buy.

This discussion came up on Brighthand and it seems that the replacement battery shown on HighTech.com is similar (in size) as the EXTENDED HP Battery.
If you check on HP for the part Part Number: FA192A#AC3, you end up there: http://www.shopping.hp.com/cgi-bin/hpdirect/shopping/scripts/home/store_access.jsp?product_code=FA192A%23AC3&template_type=product_detail&script_name=product.cgi.

Another thing; the battery shown is 1800mAh vs. 2000mAh (description) !?!

Are you sure that this is the same size as the standard battery? Or is it a replacement extended battery with 2000mAh rather than 1800mAh?

The code FA192A#AC3 quoted on the description page here (http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HP1518&Category_Code=_41xx) is HP's code for their extended (1800mAh) battery that definitely is bigger than the standard, and which (I believe) comes with a bigger battery cover.

Never mind, I looked at the link posted on Brighthand and it shows that the battery IS bigger than the original and comes with a new door to cover it JUST like the HP. :<. What a shame.
