If you've read my reviews of Missing Sync and PocketMac Pro, but you're undecided which one to get, you might want to read a second opinion. If that's the case, you can do so at Tekguru, where nihilism has reviewed both Missing Sync and PocketMac Pro as well. Our conclusions are very similar: synchronization works, but here and there future releases could enhance some of the more advanced options. Still, if you own a Mac synchronization is no longer a reason not to get a Pocket PC.

PocketMac has an installer too that they are offering to developers for free acording to an email that I got today. They are creating a database of software that can be installed from Macs.

I've used their Mac installer once to install Pocket Informant. It works quite nicely. I'm hoping other developers follow the bandwagon and offer their programs in that installation package, or at least provide CAB files on their web site! :)

Well, to be honest, I sent them a reply asking for the installer because when I went to their site they had a huge form to fill asking for a lot of personal information about myself and I don't like when people do that. So I think that if they want that developers start to use their installer they will have to change a little bit the process. I don't see the reason why they don't post just a link for the installer and period. As a developer I would like to see my applications to be included in their list so if they talk about the list in their site and post the link of the installer sooner or later I will go back to them requesting to add my applications in the list after I have prepared the installer for my software.
