Does anyone know where to get a good Today Screen Plugin to display the weather for the week. I have looked a few but none of them have caught my eye except for Toaday Plus which does not have download available. What is the program you use? I want to know what the best is so I don't have to go through each myself. Thank you.

I use WeatherToday. It's not free, though, if that's what you're looking for.

I use Journal Bar (http://www.omegaone.com/PocketPC/JournalBar.html). It's also not free. :( I think it's worth the money though.

I've been using Journal Bar for some time. It's really a pretty good product. See it at http://www.omegaone.com/PocketPC/JournalBar.html

I use JournalBar as well. Try it out. It has some pretty cool features.

One thing I don't like about OmegaOne is how they want to charge extra for "extra" journalbar features. With the expansion pack, Journal Bar costs $30 if purchased separately! Oh well... Any company has to make money, right?

You can give ADB Weather a shot at: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pocketpc/adbweather.html

It's not free, but it's close at $5. I used it before I got Jurnal Bar, and liked it okay.

Journal Bar is an outstanding program, not only a weather tracker, but a perfectly small place to read headlines. Journal Bar allows you to choose from a wide variety of national News Papers and their sections. Also, you can find movie times and other useful information. I was very impressed with the abundance of information, packed into a today screen plug-in.

Did they fix all the bugs that came with the Journal Bar? The last time I did a search (3-4 weeks ago), alot of people including me were having serious problems with it. In my case the Journal Bar would cause my ipaq to lock up every time I tried to sync requiring a soft reset....friends of mine experienced the same issue.

If they fixed the bugs I'd get it. The Journal Bar would be great if it worked.

I had no problem what so ever with Journal Bar, it installed, loaded, and performs exactly as it should. I have never heard talk about bugs, or any problems with Journal Bar, so I cannot give any insight with that, except it works perfectly for me.

I use the weather only portion of http://www.stocksandweathertoday.com/
but it's $12.95.

All of these programs look good but I have to say that I am not going to pay to have a today plugin when i can just as easily fo through IE and Avantgo and have all the info.

The latest version of Journal Bar (2.0.3, I think) seems to have a few bugs in it:

It is a great app though, and I'm hoping they resolve the bugs in this latest version soon.

Look at this thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=234521#234521)

Stock and Weather Today is $5.99 until noon 4/9/2004. Can't beat that if you just want a weather Today plug-in.
