I was reading some posted and I noticed that under my name it said "Pocket PC Pontificator". I had no idea what that ment and had to look it up.

pon·tif·i·cate

The office or term of office of a pontiff.

intr.v. pon·tif·i·cat·ed, pon·tif·i·cat·ing, pon·tif·i·cates

To express opinions or judgments in a dogmatic way.

Yup. I guess pontification is a more common word around here.

Then again, at primary school they made us read dictionaries, so maybe my vocabulary benefited from it. :D

I knew it all along- in fact, I have a very short list of professions I want when I get out of school:
1. Psychologist
2. Instructor
3. Pope

With a girlfriend I'm very close to, #3 gets farther away :(

John Paul does most of his writing, checks his daily email, and never leaves the Vatican without his trusty Pontificator...

Yeah but I usually forget the association with the pope, I associate it more with "ponder". Not quite the same, one can ponder to oneself but one pontificates out loud to others. In my mind anyway!
