5555 Backup Battery Low message

My main battery says 100%, but backup battery stays at 0%. When I remove from cradle, popup says backup battery low, etc. HP couldn't help, now wants me to send it in for repair. Has anyone else had this same problem? Thanks!

sounds like you backup battery is either just dead or maybe the battery connector came loose. You may have to send it to HP unless you're handy fixing things, if so just open the ipaq using a T6 torx screwdriver and check to make sure the battery is still connected.

BACK UP YOUR DATA!!!! Just saying this because if your backup battery is dead and you remove the regular battery...POOF! Everything will be gone.
