I have got fed up with cradling my X3 to keep it up to date, and so am looking for software that will retrieve different sorts of data - remotely (via WiFi)
for e.g. I don't want to use AvantGo or Mobile Favorites (aside from their unreliability) but would prefer to have something that brought selected information directly to my PPC.
Journal Bar is a good example of what I am after, it retrieves up to date weather information via any available internet connection. Unfortunately the other built in data isn't so good. TV schedules are kind of available via a cached Yahoo (I think) TV page, but it's clumsy and I can't seem to navigate around the schedule without needing to connect.
NetFront does the webpage job ok however even selecting the BBC Text Only News site to a depth of 1 link leads to around a hundred pages being brought in ! Equally a PPC RSS Reader is good, but only has headlines.
Anyone use other software for different data types ? Sport etc. ?
