ROM Update question

Hey everyone -

I know there was a driver problem with the Socket SDIO WAN cards under the original ROM - does anyone know if the ROM update solved this?

I just ordered a Socket SDIO WiFi card and need to know if I have to go download the new drivers from Socket.
