I am not sure if this has been mentioned, but this might correlate with the WM2k3SE story...my local CompUSA doesn't have the e805 in stock anymore so I asked them to see if it was discontinued and it was. It was D01 which means it was recently discontinued and could have been discontinued by the company or by Toshiba. Maybe they are going to release a new model with the SE OS and the new XScale.
