View Full Version : MPEG Layer-3 Gone?

Hopefully somebody here can shed some light on this.

I've been using a process, ending with Virtual Dub to encode DVD's' to watch on my iPAQ with Pocket MVP. It's been going fine until now.

Now, when selecting Audio Compression, the options under MPEG Layer-3 are gone! There used to be a bunch of options here, but no more. I don't think I've installed anything since the last time it worked, but may have.

Either way, anybody know how to get this back?

TIA.

Just do a search for the Mpeg Layer-3 Codec and reload it...

The same thing has happened to me a few times. I've fixed it by downloading the Nimo Codec Pack (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html) and reinstalling the MP3 codec.

Note: Ignore the date of the file - it's incorrect.

Hopefully that does the trick! :D

Awesome Pat. Thanks! I'll try it at home tonight and let you know how it goes.
