I found this bug on the Toshiba e805. Not sure if it also exists on all other Pocket PC 2003.

Scenario:

1) Insert an SD Card

2) Start the File Explorer

3) Select My Device > SD Card to see the files in the SD Card

4) Go to Settings > System > Memory > Running Applications, select File Explorer and tap Stop.

5) Remove the SD Card

6) Start the File Explorer again: it hangs!

The only way out of that is to re-insert an SD Card. If you don't have one, the File Explorer will not be usable (even after a Soft Reset!).

Does this problem exist on all Pocket PC 2003 ?

The problem was confirmed by others, and apparently it affects some other WM2003 Pocket PCs.

on my 4150, it doesn't "hang" but it doesn't display anything.
I'm able to close file explorer, but i can't navigate to existing directories on the internal storage.

after a soft reset and still no inserted SD card, file explorer works fine.
