Is compaq and HP the same company? will this unit fit the HP Ipaq 4100 series? or only the Compaq Ipaq 4100.

HP bought Compaq. So the recent ipaqs are all HP branded.

Will what fit? As Kati said though, there is no Compaq 4100 series. It is an HP iPAQ 41xx
