Hello there,

Sorry I know this question probably has been asked many many times, I tried doing a search on "how to screenshot" but nothing came up that was relevant.

Soo how do you do one, where's that 'Print Scrn' button on ipaq, or do I have to download an extra program to do this?

Thanks

For free, take a look at this thread... (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18082&)

I've used Magic SS for ages and it works every time. There are a bunch of places to download it one of which is http://www.freewareppc.com/graphics/magicss.shtml

I have the "record" button mapped to it, so I can grab a screenshot anytime I want. (About once a year or so :D ) It saves the image as a BMP file in My Documents.

Hey, I was the one who wrote that tip for iPAQ.net. :) I probably saw the information somewhere else myself, though.

The good thing about iTask screen capture is that it comes pre-installed on your iPAQ. The bad thing is that it isn't very flexible. That's why I use MagicSS, which was mentioned above.

Has anyone used this function to capture web pages.

I'd try myself but I'm at work

I use Pocket ScreenSnap from DeveloperOne, always liked it...

Hmm, just went to post a link and noticed it is no longer listed on their web site. I wonder if they stoped developing this app?

As long as the Web page fits on the screen, the screen capture program will get it. If it doesn't fit completely on the screen, you'll only capture the visible part.

For capturing bigger screens, you could use a Virtual Display program. See my dotPocket 2.1 review (http://reviews.svpocketpc.com/reviews/dotpocket/dotPocket.html) for an example of such a program.
