I think the question that we should be asking ourselves... is why we are even having to do this... How much money are these people making that we can buy a complete Music Player at half the price and cannibalize the MicroDrive out of them...
Consider that they are still making money by selling the parts to another party.... and they are making money as well... Unless it is more expensive to package a microdrive in plastic than it is around an iPod... maybe that's it...
