Does anybody know if any Pocket PC phones can record a voice memo by simply pressing one button like on some of the palms as opposed to removing the stylus or paging thru a menu. My iPaq 1945 can, but it's dnot a phone and has a different operating system than "Pocket PC Phone Edition". Nobody wants to get in a car wreck just to make a voice memo.

Sure. Which PPCPE do you have? If it's the original XDA, there's no explicit record button, but you can remap the Contact or Calendar buttons to record. Even better, the Samsung i700 has an explicit record button on the side.

Thanks Janak,

That’s what I wanted to hear. I don't have one yet. But, it sounds like I need to switch to Verizon so I can get an i700 since Sprint never came out with it. Or, should I wait. Do you know of anything coming out in the next 6 months that might be better?

Did you ever find out about any new CDMA phones slated for release?
