Does anyone know if the Sandisk (or other) SD wifi card will work in the e405? It's not on the Sandisk list of compatible ppcs, but it does have a sdio slot. Toshiba support chat was no help. The more I read about this the more confused I get.

I read a review of the e405 0n Brighthand. The review states...

" Communications. The e405 has infrared but does not have built-in Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. However, it has a Secure Digital slot that supports SDIO Now!, so you should be able to pop in one of the new SD Wi-Fi cards and gain access to wireless LANs. "

' Should ' is an awful vague word however.

Socket's Compatibility matrix shows it's SDIO WLAN card card will work with the Toshiba 400 series, but only w/ PPC 2003.

The e405 only comes with Pocket PC 2003, though. ;)
