I was thinking of buying a sena case for my iPaq2210 and an SDIO Wifi card for it aswell. So i can take the SDIO card out and put it in the case... Well, that is my thought...
Now... What do you guys recommend? the SD one or the CF one?

Well, if you want a WiFi card and a, say 256MB storage card, the prices go like this (this isn't counting any sales you might find):

SD
WiFi Card - $130 ish
256 MB - $120 ish

CF
WiFi Card - $70 ish
256 MB - $90 ish

So that's $250 for SD WiFi and CF 256MB, vs. $160 for SD 256MB and CF WiFi ... so my choice (and what I'm gonna do with my Toshiba) is to go with CF WiFi.

I'd agree with Palm Cow. I got a 512MB SD card and then use a CF WiFi card. makes it easy too when I swap it out for a CAT5 ethernet or 56K modem card. My SD never comes out.

Yeah. Now, here's a little O/T business. I was gonna get a 256MB SD Sandisk card from Staples for $50 after mail-in ( :D ), as featured in their Sunday ad, but that was only for Sunday and Monday! So I was really peeved when I walked in Thursday asking for it ... blyech.

Anyway, yeah, if Ed and I both agree, we have a pretty solid whatchama there.

Unless you want to get a large-capacity memory card (say, 1GB) -- in that case, the opposite ends up being cheaper.

I believe that there is at least one manufacturer that makes a dual use CF card that is both WiFi and storage for about $80. Last I checked the storage capacity was only 128Mg, but for the price it gives you a little space as well as WiFi. That would keep your SD slot open for larger memory capacity or other SDIO cards.....

Yes, Sandisk does, at 128MB. I almost bought one for $60 Buy-it-Now on ebay ... stupid parentses ... <hiss> ANGRY </hiss>. They are around $100 to $120 elsewhere, and there aren't any ebay auctions anymore after tonight on them.

what about quality and batery wise??? i'm not worried too much about the price of the devices... i'm nore interested in which one has a better range and better battery life...

i'm also gonna have to agree with janak... i'm thinking of getting an 1gb cf or bigger... and CF is faster than SD for data right?
Thanks so much...
