Well, I'm almost a new 4355 owner (it'll arrive on Friday). I'm switching from a Tungsten|T.

What proggies/utilities are essential for my PPC newbie self?

Thanks.

There are three programs/utilities I think are essential: (Listed in order of importance - at least to me!)

1. Ilium Software's eWallet (For obvious reasons) Ilium Software (http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/ew/ewallet.htm)
2. Resco's Resco Explorer 2003 (v5) - a must have if you are moving files around. Resco.net (http://www.resco-net.com/explorer.asp)
3. Sprite Backup v2 - by far the most powerful, robust, backup option out there ... Sprite Software.com (http://www.spritesoftware.com/products/sprite_backup.html)

There's many more I could list, but these are the three "must haves" and are always the first ones I install on a new PPC... Have fun!

The above three are very good and I'd recommend them too.

Take a look at Pocket Informant (http://www.pocketinformant.com) and Agenda Fusion (http://www.developerone.com/).

Both are good PIM replacements that add tons of usability to the built-in tools.

I personally use and prefer Pocket Informant, but it is a personal decision ;)

My all time absolute must is SPB Pocket Plus (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/?en). Was wondering why my unit was sluggish after a hard reset. Forgot to reload Pocket Plus. Now it's back to performing like a champ.

Thanks all. I'll be checking all of those out.

Got my 4350? today. Ordered it from Staples. Not sure how I ended up with a 50 instead of a 55.
