Well I just installed PI and for the most part I'm happy with it still learning the in's and outs. I'm not sure if my question pertains to PI or not but here goes.

Is it possible to see more then one appointment when in the today screen. I'll explain though I have more than one appointment only one shows up on my today screen when the time frame of that appointment is up the next one appears. I would like to know if I can see more if not all appts on my today screen for that particular day.

The next is can I have more than one day's appointments show up on my today screen. It would be nice to see at least two days worth of appointments.

Of course I can see all that I'm asking within PI but if there is way can some one guide me. :D

Thanks Peter

P.S not meaning to insult anyone when I mention "today screen" I'm referring to the main screen.

There is a product out there called PIToday (http://www.pocketinformant.com/p_todayplugin.php).

More information can be found at the PIToday-Online site (http://www.pitoday.de.vu/).

I have never used it myself but from what I have read, it might do what you are asking.

Anyone else here who uses it want to chime in?

Pocket Informant itself does not interface with the Today Screen.

There is a free app called Calendar+ but I don't have the link.

You can also use the free tool called tAgenda (http://www001.upp.so-net.ne.jp/kohgo/index_en.html). If however you are using PI, consider buying PIToday.

Or you could go to your PPC OS's today settings page (Start, settings, personal, today... the same screen you use to change your background pictures/themes).

Click on the items tab down the bottom, then on calender - options.

Here you can change the default from displaying your next appointment to all upcoming appointments.

Of course, you then use a lot more of your today screen space :P But there we go - hope it helps!

Thanks for all of the suggestions. When the time comes I'll pick up the PItoday plugin but for now tanalasta's suggestion has solved one issue.

Thanks again Peter :D

Happy to be able to help :) As far as I know though, if you want to display more than a day's calender events you will have to buy/trial the software suggested here. The integrated OS won't let you do that.

PItoday is designed to work with pocketinformant so try that ;) Otherwise, dasboard (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?productType=2&optionId=1_2_2&jid=82AD6AA5X4XE4A72DXBE35ED19BB42C5&platformId=2&siteId=1&productId=15044&sectionId=0&catalog=30&txtSearch=snoopsoft+dashboard) is another alternative that hasn't been mentioned yet.

I use Quick Agenda by Scary Bear Software. It's a little plug-in ($9.95 I think) that can display from 1 to 7 days worth of appointments. You can change the font size and number of lines to display (without having to scroll) so the app takes up very little of the precious available space on my Today screen. The latest version includes a link to apps like, PI or AF.

I tried several freeware and purchased apps before settling on this one. It refreshes quickly and I like the fact that I can control how much or how little information I want to display.

Hey FG,

Several folks have mentioned it, but let me throw my 2 cents into the ring for PIToday. I've used Pocket Informant since v.2 so I am a true confirmed user. When PIToday came out I really did not think that I needed it. I downloaded the trial version and bought it a couple of days later. I really have come to enjoy using it. Right on the today screen all my appointments and tasks are presented. What is cool is that it changes nicely from day to day as the appointments change and you can do some tweaking and configuing of it so that it does not take your entire Today Screen real estate.

You sound like you are happy with what you have discovered. If you get tired with that or if it does not work well for you, let me encourage you to give PIToday a try.

Good luck!
