Migrating "Day-Timer" to Outlook

I have a Sharp organizer that syncs wih Day-Timer's program on my PC. I want to migrate the Day-Timer telephone, appointments, etc to Outlook. Anyone have an application. RuppLynx has one but it's $99 which is a lot for a one-time use.

My solution would be to EXPORT the Day-Timer data: contacts, calendar entries, tasks, and etcetera in either ASCII or CSV format and then use AWK (or PERL, or any other script tool of your choice) to reformat the data such that you can use the OutLook IMPORT function.

Is AWK or PERL something I'll be able t handle or do you have to be a programmer? Is one easier to use than the other?
