Ok,
My troubles started when I got my NEC MP780. It didn't come with a sync cable, but I bought an IrDa usb cable, so no troubles, right? Heh!
Now, my Toshiba 740 is connected to my comp (WinXP) with ASync 3.5. I changed the connection to use IR, but for some reason my MP wouldn't connect. The connection speed on both the computer and MP is set to 115k. I checked the 'PC Link' on the MP and it would register on the computer for about 2 sec. before dropping. I dl'ed Activesync 3.7, but still no go. I removed that and re-installed AS 3.5, but STILL nothing.
(sigh) Giving up, I tried to connect my Toshiba...and it won't register :( I know I forgot to do something along the way and now I don't know what to do and undo. Help! :cry:
