I received a "thank you" e-mail today from HP today with a .doc attachment. I'm just wondering if anyone else received one. Here's the text of the e-mail message:

"We at Hewlett-Packard wanted to let you know how much we appreciate
your business and your confidence in us. Thank you for selecting HP
Services."

I thought it was interesting to receive a communication from HP in this manner. I scanned the document (even though it wasn't an executable file), and there wasn't a virus.

Interesting, huh?

If memory serves, I have received such an e-mail. It was sent to me in the wake of HP performing a repair on my h1940.

Ahhh. I just received replacement grips for my 2215. Now it makes sense! I didn't put the two things together - and I couldn't figure out what they would be thanking me for.

Thanks! :)
