This is GNU GPL, you can distribute it or alter the code in any way as long as it remains freeware. Have fun.

Moderators,

This s/w was pulled by the developer due to a copyright infringement possibility. A similar thread to this one was locked by the mods on Brighthand.

^^Stop the lies. Why lie when you know nothing?

The developer chose not to distribute this software anymore because he made a backroom deal with the developer of ResFix.

This software in GNU GPL and can be freely distributed and modified.

Also, the thread at BH was only temporarily closed until it could be discussed between the mods.

the software violates GPL/GNU therefore there is no GPL agreement. You, my friend, are also inviolation by sharing sourcode that is not public, nor yours.

You are lying. As much as you would like to copyright a bunch of registry settings, you have no right to do so...

jkendrick and Deez are friends, so jkendrick is helping Deez to stop this code from getting out so Deez can gain monetarily. Pathetic.

It's sad when a developer can't admit his corner on the market has been shattered and resorts to backroom deals and lies to stop the spread of great freeware. :(

Also, wouldn't there need to be a court order to stop the distribution of this software even if it was someday found to be in violation? Like it ever would be anyway, no software programmer owns registry settings.

This is my last post anywhere about Resfix or Myvga. I do not know Deez. I do not do anything to help any developer gain monetarily.

I was the FIRST and loudest supporter of MyVGA in the industry.

This whole sordid episode makes me question WHY I do all that I do and for free at that.
